Create Your Account

1. Download TradeZone GH from Google Play or App Store.
2. Register with your name, email, phone number, and location.
3. Verify your email with the code we send you.
4. Complete your profile and add a photo for better trust.

New users receive 50 free tokens on registration, which is enough to try a Spark Seller promotion or contribute toward a higher tier.

Understand The Interface

• Home: Browse best sellers and recent listings.
• Search: Filter by category, price, location, and condition.
• Sell: Quickly post items with photos and pricing.
• Chat: Message buyers and sellers securely.
• Profile: Manage listings, tokens, favorites, and settings.
• Favorites: Save items you want to revisit later.

How To List An Item

1. Upload up to five clear photos from different angles.
2. Choose the correct category and subcategory.
3. Add full specifications like brand, model, and condition.
4. Set a fair price after checking similar items.
5. Write a detailed description with condition, age, and extras.
6. Set your region and city to help local buyers find you.

Good lighting, clean backgrounds, and honest descriptions help listings perform better and attract serious buyers faster.

Managing Your Listings

• Use My Listings to view active, sold, and inactive items.
• Edit photos, prices, descriptions, and specifications anytime.
• Mark items as sold once a deal is completed.
• Reactivate inactive items when you want to sell them again.
• Delete items you no longer want to keep on the platform.

Finding The Perfect Item

1. Use keywords, brand names, or model numbers in search.
2. Filter results by location, price, category, and condition.
3. Review the photos, full description, and specifications carefully.
4. Check seller badges, ratings, reviews, and response time.

Compare prices before making an offer, ask for extra photos if needed, and always inspect items thoroughly before paying.

Identity Verification

1. Open Profile, then go to Settings and Identity Verification.
2. Upload a clear photo of your Ghana Card or valid ID.
3. Take a selfie so the app can match your identity.
4. Wait for the review process to complete.

Verification improves trust, helps you stand out in search, and unlocks access to premium selling features.

Understanding Tokens

Tokens are TradeZone's virtual currency for promoting listings and getting more visibility. They work like advertising credits that stay active until the item sells.

Promotion Tiers

• Spark Seller: 30 tokens - basic visibility boost.
• Pro Seller: 60 tokens - enhanced visibility and priority placement.
• Prime Seller: 80 tokens - stronger homepage and category exposure.
• Elite Seller: 100 tokens - maximum visibility and top-ranking placement.

How To Buy Tokens

1. Open Profile and tap Buy Tokens.
2. Select a package such as 100, 250, 700, or 1,600 tokens.
3. Choose your payment method and complete checkout.

How To Promote An Item

1. Open the Promote Items screen from Profile or item details.
2. Select an active, unsold item that has not been promoted before.
3. Choose the tier that fits the item's value and urgency.
4. Confirm to activate the promotion.

How Search Ranking Works

Promoted items rank in this order: Elite, Prime, Pro, Spark, then regular listings. Within each tier, items also sort by view count and promotion date.

What Is Live Shopping?

Live Shopping lets verified sellers broadcast in real time, showcase products, chat with viewers, and accept bids during the stream.

For Sellers: Going Live

1. Open the Live Session area and tap Go Live.
2. Add a title, description, thumbnail, and featured products.
3. Enable the session settings and start broadcasting.
4. Pin products, chat with viewers, and manage bids during the stream.

For Buyers: Joining Live Sessions

1. Find sessions marked Live Now from the home or live section.
2. Join, watch the stream, and chat with the seller.
3. View pinned products and place bids during the session.
4. Confirm the winning bid and follow the seller's next steps.

Live Session Token Costs

• Start a live session: 50 tokens for the first 30 minutes.
• Continue streaming: 50 tokens for every extra 30 minutes.
• Watching is free for buyers.

Session Analytics And Tips

Sellers can review viewers, featured products, chat activity, and duration after each session. For best results, prepare products in advance, use strong lighting, keep a stable connection, and engage actively with viewers.

Troubleshooting

• Check camera and microphone permissions if broadcasting fails.
• Refresh your connection if video is not loading properly.
• Top up tokens if a session ends early because the balance dropped below the minimum.
• Make sure the item is pinned before placing or accepting bids.

What Is Escrow?

Escrow keeps buyer funds safe until the item is received and confirmed. Payment is held securely and released only when both sides complete the process.

For Buyers

1. Open an escrow-enabled listing and choose Buy with Escrow.
2. Complete payment through the secure checkout flow.
3. Track the order under Escrow Orders in your profile.
4. Confirm receipt with the SMS code after inspection.

If the seller misses the agreed delivery deadline, you can request a refund from the escrow order screen after the deadline passes.

For Sellers

1. Enable escrow when creating or editing a listing.
2. Set a realistic delivery deadline.
3. Deliver on time and wait for the buyer's confirmation.
4. Use the order tools to cancel if the item is no longer available.

Escrow FAQs

• Buyers cannot cancel escrow orders themselves.
• A small service charge may apply and is shown before payment.
• Track all escrow orders from Profile → Escrow Orders.

Content Moderation And Safety

TradeZone uses moderation tools to help keep the marketplace safe. Reported content is reviewed, harmful listings are filtered, and unsafe activity is monitored.
